At Hakuhodo Malaysia, we work as a family and the culture in itself speaks volumes of our Sei-katsu-sha Insight philosophy. The understanding of each family member’s role and our diverse ethnic backgrounds allows us to interact, communicate and support each other on a daily basis—be it work-related or not—and to bond internal partnerships to achieve our individual and family goals.
The most valuable asset of any company is always its people and my job requires me to look after these unique contributors and drivers and make sure that they are happy.
With clear family goals, I have to keep up with the changes in our family and instill our values to new members. With our unique cultural diversity, I am tasked with encouraging everyone to explore and support each other to discover new things through learning, sharing and growing together in this ever-changing environment. As a family, we respect each other’s uniqueness and push each other to discover our potential and generate ideas that positively influence change. This culture even led us to win the Agency of the Year award at Kancil Awards 2018!
Each year a theme is set for growing our people and the business together. This is very much driven by our culture. We encourage each other to perform and transform ourselves to meet the challenges posed by digitalization and Industrial Revolution 4.0. This year, we have positioned ourselves as the Experience Leader, a philosophy that has helped us to create work that communicates on a human level and garners recognition on the global stage.
