Finding the perfect balance:
In my recent travels, I had the opportunity to visit the Portland Japanese Garden in Portland, Oregon. Needless to say, the garden scenery was mesmerizing, and I also learnt a lot about the thought processes behind building a beautiful garden, as I had the good fortune of having an English tour guide showing us around. The importance of building a solid foundation in every landscape was paramount, and the synergy of three basic elements of stone, water and plants was akin to an art. From laying the first stone, to planning how the water flows, and curating and shaping the plants, all these individual tasks ultimately come together to create a perfect balance to bring the viewer a moment of serenity. The amount of thought and consideration put into each garden was palpable, which emphasized the sincerity of the gardeners who tirelessly work on the grounds.
I could not help but draw a parallel to how Hakuhodo operates. We at Hakuhodo are like the gardeners, while every client is a garden. Each client has different needs and requires different elements to achieve balance, so we at Hakuhodo need to curate and craft the perfect synergy of elements for each individual garden. Through our tireless efforts, clients will eventually feel our sincerity, because no matter how big or small the client is, we still treat them with the same amount of care and concern, just like the gardeners tending to every corner of the garden. I believe that our sincerity will pave the way to success, and allow our working relationships to blossom into true partnerships, and one day, create a perfect balance for all our stakeholders.
